Organic Fertilizer

Why Fertilize?

Just like our bodies need nutrients to function and grow, so do plants. The soil contains many of the vital nutrients needed, but as plants use them, the soil can become depleted. Soil also can get depleted from erosion by wind and rain.
Fertilizing is a way to replenish the fertility of the soil. The healthier the soil, the healthier the plants will be.

ORGANIC FARMING PRINCIPLE

What do plants need? While there are at least 16 nutrient elements necessary for plant growth, the most important are nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium (referred to by the elemental symbols, N, P, and K). Most soils contain large reserves of the other 13 nutrients — especially calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, zinc, and manganese — that might also hitchhike along when you fertilize with the “big three.”
To ensure that your soil has the right mix and balance of nutrients, you should do a soil test. Private laboratories and state cooperative extension services test garden soil for a nominal fee.

Specific Compositions

– N (Nitrogen 2.0% to 5.0%)
– P (Phosphorus 1.0% to 2.0%)
– K (Potassium 1.0% to 2.0%)
– CaO (Calcium 10% to 12%)
– MgO (Magnesium 5.0% to 6.0%)
– S (Sulphur 1.0% – 2.0%)
– Humic acid  3.0% – 5.0%
– Fulvic acid 3.0% – 5.0%
– Seaweed extract 6.0% to 8.0%
– Organic matter 25% – 30%

Advantages of Secco Neem Organic fertilizer

– Slow release of nutrients.
– Not easily leached from the soil.
– Add organic components to growing media

SECCO ORGANIC FERTILIZERS ARE PREPARED NATURALLY AND ARE MADE FROM MATERIALS DERIVED BY LIVING THINGS

Methods of Applying Fertilizer Fertilizers are applied four ways: Broadcast before planting. The proper amount of fertilizer is spread evenly over the garden and mixed with the soil to a depth of 3 to 4 inches before rows are made. This method is the least likely to cause plant damage and usually is best for home gardeners.

Band or row applications. The fertilizer is applied in a strip to the side of the row before planting (Fig. 4). With this method you must be careful to prevent the roots from coming in contact with the fertilizer band, which can kill plants.

Inorganic Fertilizers

– Comes from Chemical products
– Chemical ferilizers are manufactured from synthetic material.
– Chemical ferilizers are articialy prepared.
– VERY HARMFUL FOR HEALTH

DO NOT USE CHEMICAL FERTILIZER … BECAUSE …

Chemical fertilizers, in effect,
Leaching the soil while organic fertilizers
improve fertility and maintain the soil health.

The toxic chemicals found in fertilizers can be absorbed into the plants and enter the food chain via vegetables and cereals, although the biggest health risk is when the chemicals seep into the ground water which is then extracted for drinking water CREATES many diseases and affect health and decreases the immunity.
